“She waited on tables as usual that day…”
while i was reading during lunch, boss2 came over and asked to look at my book.
i passed it to him, and asked him to try reading it. that was the first sentence of the page that i was at. then i asked him to try translating it into korean.
“그녀가 평소와 같이 책상 위에서 기다린다.” was what he came up with.
for those who don’t understand korean, he just did a literal translation. as in, “a girl was waiting (for someone or something) as usual on top of a table” kind of literal.
heh heh.
