it’s been a few days since i switched completely from firefox to chrome, and i think i can safely say that i am an official convert.
i didn’t immediately switch when chrome first came out because there weren’t much extensions then, and i was unwilling to give up the add-ons that i have installed in ffx, especially qtl, which i relied on for on-the-fly definitions of korean words.
however, since i gave chrome a second chance, i have managed to find chrome equivalents of the ffx extensions that i have gotten used to, and i have already set chrome to be my default browser because it’s fast(er), and i like the relatively minimalist tab/address/bookmark bar which doesn’t take up too much space. PLUS, i managed to find an extension in chrome that does the same thing as qtl, but better.
my only gripe is that there is no theme manager or anything like it, but i suppose (hope!) it’ll be included in future revisions. for now, i can live without it quite happily.
here’s a list of extensions that i am currently using with chrome, in no particular order:

current theme: muku
1) web developer, firebug lite and eye dropper
useful tools for web development
2) korean dictionary (naver+daum), google dictionary
the korean dictionary beats qtl hands down any day!!!
3) delicious tools
for managing delicious bookmarks
4) postponer adder and postponer manager
unofficial chrome version for read it later (love!)
5) webpage screenshot
captures the whole page of a webpage in jpg format
6) sexy undo close tab
7) google reader notifier, facebook for google chrome and chromed bird
rss feeds, facebook and twitter
8) smooth gestures, helvetireader 2, rss subcription extension, better gmail (unofficial), ultimate google docs viewer
improves usability overall
